Ok Liao
Ok Liao is a surf artist, with a love and passion for Hawaii. Ok Liao’s art aims to capture the joyful moments of surfing and celebrate people’s deep connection with the ocean. Through his works, he invites you to experience love, peace, and harmony with nature.
Ok studied and practiced art throughout his life, however in 2020 during the pandemic his art became his main focus. His medium of preference is acrylic on canvas as well as digital art.
He often depicts two friends, Kono and Pili, enjoying the ocean and Hawiian life.
His characters are always full of aloha, while at the same time always sporting some sort of injury. The injuries were sustained while surfing and are a lesson from the ocean that they joyfully carry with them.
