Eita

is inspired by Hawaii’s ocean, mountains, and the beach. He uses driftwood and sand from the beaches where he surfs and worn-out denim to recreate his memories of the sea. There are no two art pieces that are the same! He also surfs as a hobby, receives his power and inspiration from the ocean, and applies it to his art. The red berries used for the motif are called wili wili berries, which have been used for leis since the old days. There is a saying behind the berries that go, “Again, you will return to this land.” With this in mind, Eita makes his artwork in hopes that every time you see his art, you will also return to Hawaii in your heart.
